25th Anniversary
Deaf Muslim UK celebrated our 25th anniversary in September 2019 at Royal Nawaab Banqueting Hall in London. Over 300 people attended from the UK and countries worldwide. Asif Malik from Islam Channel hosted the event and both Lauren Booth and Sabina Iqbal were our keynote speakers. Ishtiaq Hussain performed an incredible Visual Vernacular show. We also had a clown to brighten the day for the children attending. British Deaf Association (BDA), Deaf Ex-Mainstreamers Group (DEX) and many other organisations and individuals were invited to come along. Islam Channel and Deafscope filmed the event in high quality.
