Making History
Owais Murad and Khalid Ashraf became the first Deaf Muslims in history to graduate with a Masters degree in Islamic Studies in 2018.
Belgium
A conference hosted by AYA (a Belgian Deaf Muslim organisation) took place in Brussels, Belgium, in October 2019. Khalid Ashraf and Owais Murad were invited as the key speakers.
Football Tournament 2019
Deaf Muslim UK held its first five-a-side football tournament in Bradford in July 2019.
